Blackdove focuses on challenging the cis-white male norms of entertainment by understanding how we, as a fem production company, occupy space and foster a creative environment focused on free expression.

Members are endlessly curious. We will transcend our field of speciality by taking on new roles and hands-on training on set. We encourage the performer to be proficient in the art of lighting design, and the costume designer to be proficient in the art of directing.
There are unlimited opportunities to learn from our colleagues and to promote a cycle of teaching and absorbing.

We produce consumable media that challenges the traditional norms of content creation through choosing projects that represent the voices of our generation.
EDUCATE...
Our intent is to educate our audience through a subjective lens. We invite our audience in to participate. We acknowledge our biases, privilege, and agency. And, we strategically use this to promote a counter culture that implores our audience to question the lens they are looking through and take action.
